The pleasant dull greenery around,
and the sweet aroma of earth,
ensured there is a reason,
for every living creature's mirth.
I can't tell you my dear,
How long I’ve waited for you,
and finally your drops started to fell,
making me feel fresh and new.
Snaring sun and searing heat,
our comforts were cropped,
a smile came on our faces,
as soon as your pearls dropped.
How I wish I could stand
and simply enjoy your touch,
and I could say this to myself,
"I've missed you so much!!!"
To give us some relief
you are back again,
welcome back, welcome again
my dear, first rain !!! :)
